Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix the softened butter and sugars until well combined and light in color..
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and chopped milk chocolate wafers.
  6. Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to scoop out a portion of dough. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet with a 2" space between each.
  7. In the preheated oven bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and the centers are firm but still a bit soft.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for around 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
